What resolution do I get?

Each page is rendered at 150 DPI, which produces images roughly 1240 × 1754 pixels for A4 or 1275 × 1650 for Letter — high enough for retina displays and mid-quality print.

Why do I get a .zip file?

To keep multi-page conversions clean, pages 2+ are bundled into a single .zip that expands into one JPG per page. Unzip on Windows: right-click → Extract All. On macOS: double-click.

Is quality lossy?

JPG is a lossy format. If you need lossless output for print or archival, use PDF to PNG instead.

What if my PDF has vector art?

It's flattened to raster at 150 DPI. For vector fidelity, keep the PDF or convert to SVG in a design tool.

Can I convert password-protected PDFs?

Not directly — first unlock the file with our Unlock PDF tool, then convert.
