How are the files named?
Each page becomes {original_name}_page_N.pdf inside a zip archive.
Can I choose page ranges?
Not in the current UI — every page becomes its own file. For custom ranges, split all pages then merge back the ones you need.
Will bookmarks and annotations survive?
Yes. Bookmarks that live entirely within a single page are preserved.
Is there a page limit?
No — Split PDF works on files with 1 to several thousand pages, as long as the input is under 100 MB.
Are the split files smaller?
Each page carries a copy of the fonts/images it uses, so total size may be slightly larger than the original.
