Accepts .pdf · One file at a time · Up to 100 MB each
0 files ready
Extract tabular data from PDF reports, bank statements, invoices and scientific tables into an editable Excel (.xlsx) workbook. Each PDF page becomes a separate sheet, columns are auto-detected using whitespace analysis, and totals stay in numeric form so you can pivot, sum and chart them the moment the download completes.

PDF to Excel — frequently asked questions
How does column detection work?
We use a whitespace-heuristic parser that scans text runs on each PDF page, groups them by X-coordinate, and emits one Excel column per detected cluster. Complex nested tables may need minor cleanup.
Does it handle multi-page tables?
Yes. Each PDF page is put on its own Excel sheet named "Page 1", "Page 2", … so you can merge them with =VSTACK() or Power Query.
Are formulas preserved?
PDFs store rendered values, not formulas, so we output plain numbers. Reapply formulas in Excel — SUM, VLOOKUP and pivot tables all work as expected.
Will scanned PDFs work?
Scanned PDFs need OCR first. Run OCR PDF, then send the resulting text to Excel by opening it in Excel and using "From Text/CSV".
Which Excel versions can open the file?
The output is a standard .xlsx that opens in Excel 2010+, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and LibreOffice Calc.
Pro tips for PDF to Excel
- For the cleanest columns, use "born-digital" PDFs (exported from Word/Google Docs/Excel) — not scans.
- Delete decorative header rows in the PDF (via editing the Word source) before converting for a tidier Excel.
- Combine multiple PDF statements with Merge PDF first, then convert once — every sheet lands in one file.
