Is text editable or an image?

Each PDF page is rendered as a full-page image on the slide plus a text layer for slide notes, so headings stay searchable. If you need every text run to be a separate editable box, use PDF to Word first and paste into PowerPoint.

How large is the PPTX?

A 20-page PDF typically produces a 2–5 MB PowerPoint. Slide images are rendered at 150 DPI for a good balance of quality and file size.

What page size is used?

Slides are 10" × 7.5" (standard 4:3 PowerPoint). Change to widescreen inside PowerPoint via Design → Slide Size.

Can I keep vector charts?

Vector fidelity is not preserved — we rasterise for maximum compatibility. If you need vector, convert PDF to Word instead.

Does it handle multi-page PDFs?

Yes, up to 100 MB or a few hundred pages. Big decks may take 30–60 seconds to build.

Pro tips for PDF to PowerPoint

Trim the PDF to only the pages you need with Split PDF first — smaller input, faster conversion.
After conversion, right-click a slide → Layout → Blank if you want to add title placeholders.
For charts that need to remain editable, redraw them in PowerPoint using the PDF image as a reference underlay.
