JPG to PDF — frequently asked questions
How is the order decided?
By the order in which you added the files. Drag-and-drop supports multi-file selection which usually respects the OS sort order (typically filename alphabetical).
Does it re-compress my images?
JPG files are embedded as-is when possible for the best fidelity. Very large images may be shrunk slightly to keep the PDF within reasonable size.
Are EXIF data and orientation preserved?
Orientation is applied so photos appear right-side-up. Metadata (GPS, camera) is stripped for privacy.
Can I mix JPG and PNG?
Yes — use our Images to PDF tool for mixed formats.
Is there a maximum count?
Not per-file, but the total upload must stay under 500 MB (5× the per-file limit).
Pro tips for JPG to PDF
