Can I change the watermark colour?
The current watermark is 70% grey at 35° angle. Custom colours require a desktop tool like Acrobat Pro or LibreOffice Draw.
Will the watermark be searchable?
Yes — it's real text (not an image), so PDF viewers will find and select it.
Can I remove a watermark added elsewhere?
Watermarks are content, not metadata, so removal isn't reliable. Best practice: keep an unwatermarked master copy.
Does the watermark cover images?
Yes — it sits on top of everything, but at 30% opacity so the underlying content remains readable.
How long can the watermark text be?
Up to about 25 characters looks best. Long strings shrink to fit.
